    Privacy and your material

    Pilot information · Updated September 24, 2026

    What the app stores

Lyricorize stores your account details, songs, arrangements, setlists, shows, band membership, and the practice results you choose to record. Supabase provides account, database, and file services. When you choose a paid membership, Stripe processes payment information.

    Private practice audio

Recordings you upload are stored privately in your account. Band membership and chart sharing do not give other members access to those recordings. Your browser processes speed, pitch, and section loops while you practice. Audio is not included in offline show downloads. Upload only recordings you have permission to use; protected streaming downloads cannot be imported.

Saved practice results can include the selected recording, loop, speed, pitch, playback time, repetition counts, and your own recall assessment. Playback counts do not measure singing accuracy. Recordings, filenames, lyrics, and private notes are excluded from marketing analytics.

    Shared and private material

Band members can access material shared with their band. Your personal show notes are restricted to your account. A public chart link lets anyone with the link read its chart and section notes. You can revoke that link from Share this chart. Revocation cannot remove copies that someone already downloaded.

    Local downloads

Selected material and practice activity may be stored on your device to support offline use. Signing out clears Lyricorize account caches on that browser. Browsers may evict downloads, so verify availability before each show. A disconnected device cannot receive access revocation until it reconnects.

    Product activity and errors

We record events such as joining a band, finishing a practice attempt, and downloading a packet to understand reliability and use. Product analytics exclude lyric text, private notes, credentials, and free-text fields. Error reports use technical identifiers and sanitized stack locations.

    Optional campaign analytics

When configured, Google Analytics loads only after you choose Allow analytics. It measures campaign visits, signup actions, confirmed accounts, and selected product milestones. Campaign attribution is retained on this browser for up to 30 days. We send campaign labels and fixed page paths, not email addresses, song content, private notes, account IDs, authentication tokens, or full query strings. Google may process technical device and network information. Ad personalization and advertising storage are disabled. Declining leaves the app usable. Change your choice using Analytics preferences on a public page; withdrawing consent clears this site's campaign attribution and Google Analytics cookies where accessible.

    Export and deletion

Settings includes an account data export and a tracked deletion request. Account exports contain data you can access. A separate private recordings download includes audio and its metadata, with a report identifying any files that could not be included. External streaming media is not included. Export individual charts and packets from their screens. Deletion requests require support review of shared material and stored files, and are not completed merely by submitting the request. Band owners must resolve billing and owned workspaces first. Payment providers may retain their own transaction records.

    Optional services and help

Optional lookup, streaming, and analysis services receive the material needed for the action you request. Song matching sends titles and artists to Apple’s catalog search; playlist links are resolved through the selected provider. Lyric searches send song information to AudD. Choosing Read photo sends that image to Google Cloud Vision for text recognition; Lyricorize does not store the uploaded photo. Extracted text stays in the import screen until you save reviewed songs. Provider processing is subject to each provider’s policies. Review the proposed result before using it. During the pilot, use Settings → Help & Feedback for privacy, deletion, or data questions.
